Found in BMW vehicles produced between 2010 and 2021, this engine ECU commonly suffers from internal component failure, resulting in vehicle misfires. When scanned with diagnostics, fault codes associated with cylinder misfires, such as 29CF for cylinder 1 misfire detection and 29D1 for cylinder 3 misfire detection, may appear.
